The meeting point for the whale watching tour is on Boca Chica’s main pier, next to the Panama Sport Fishing Lodge. We can also pick you up at your hotel, if you are staying near Boca Chica. Departure and return time is optional, whichever is most convenient for you. However, we suggest departure between 7:00 am -10:00 am. The return can be from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm. to avoid any setbacks. Heavy rains or breezes occur more often in the evenings.
The price of this tour is $140.00 for 2-6 people. From 7 people onwards is $23 each. We request a 15% bank transfer payment to confirm your reservation. The remaining balance can be paid in cash on the day of the tour.
The journey from Boca Chica to the first island you visit takes about 30-40 minutes. During whale watching, it can be taken about an hour on the tour. This depends on how far these giants are from the sea. You can also appreciate other islands such as Boca Brava, Las Ventanas, Palenque and San Jose, among others. The break at Gamez and Paridas is about 2 hours in each island. So you can fully enjoy the beauty that surrounds these paradisiacal islands.
Gamez and Paridas are truly beautiful islands, with their white sandy beaches and crystal clear waters. There are no hotels, nor restaurants on Gamez Island. Only Isla Paridas offers this service. For this reason, we suggest bringing a cooler with food and drinks. You can also order packed lunches at your hotel or have lunch at Isla Parida Lodge.
